So I got an email about this as I'm sure many of u did. It sounds pretty cool, $2000+$50 is very good really if u can afford it. There's no saying wot the top prize is but I'd guess ur looking at a minimum of $400,000 which would be nice eh?

Any1 seriously thinking of entering by any chance? I'd guess those sort of people don't cruise this forum but I thought I'd ask as I'll prolly watch the latter stages of the tourney if it's at a sane UK hour 8)

I certainly don't have $2,000 to spare, but I have every intention of trying to win a buy-in via satellite.

Yeah, check out the satellites. Super Satellites are $100 entry but you can win an entry into a super for as little as 3 bucks in a satellite. I think your best bet is to try a sit and go table for a super satellite entry. You can enter one of those for 11, 13, 23, or 33 dollars, i believe.

I'd totally forgotten about this wee beastie! I have a sneaking suspicion that you'll get a seat Tralfaz. I wish u and Tonytal luck, I might try a satellite but I'm unsure at the moment given my lack of enthusiasm for online poker lately

Well, my route to potential glory starts 2moro! Since I can't afford a $100+$9 Direct Entry satellite, I'm gonna go for the $3 rebuy satellite entry tourney instead and try and ride it to 1st place. The top 100 places in the big one pay out with $1,000 for 100th so if any1 is in, it's very possible that you are in the money if u just play tight

Has any1 got a seat yet out of interest?

I think I spoke too soon, I can't get my real money account activated so I'm buggered. I need to fix this in the 4hrs I have between leaving work and the tourney starting, can ne1 help me? I tried to sign up for Citadel and I get so far b4 one of the 'submit' buttons causes a script error and I can't continue!

Am I right in thinking that Firepay is only available to US people? Where u have to put in personal details, I can't change the country so I can't use the service I don't think

I won my seat several weeks ago for a total of about $9. Placed in a satellite then just squeeked by in a super.

I'm gonna try not to swear a lot but this is ridiculous. It's not even a bad beat story, I can't log on to the website no matter wot I do. Is ne1 else having trouble with UB right now? I may just cry :cry:

Yes, UB is having login difficulties... also software update check failures... I guess everyone is off today due to the new year and playing the heck out of some poker... :D

Unsurprisingly I didn't make the $1m table

I played a satellite but lost interest quickly as there were over 320 players in and I can't deal with that sorta thing right now cos it's like 2am and I'm tired to I went on tilt and didn't bother to rebuy!

Had to win something before I went to bed tho so I grabbed a seat at a 10-man $5+$.50 Sit & Go and grabbed 1st for $25. I can now sleep soundly again

I'll be cheering on Tonytal next Sunday for sure.

Anyone know what the difference is between the 11/22/33 SNG entry chips?

I mean for each of them you get an entry chip, right? Do they also have a prize fund for each SNG?

If i'm not mistaken, the 11$s pay out a tourney entry to 1st, the 22s to first and second, and the 33s to top 3... or something like that
