2 Questions about Texas Hold'Em
(1) If a person does not have enough chips left in their stack to post a blind, what happens? Can they play the hand? Example: The Big Blind has to post 50 for his big blind but only has 30 in his stack. Does he just post his 30 and then the rest goes to a side pot?
(2) I know that the person who raised at the river shows their cards first. But if your cards are not better than his/hers do you have to show your losing cards? Thanks

FYI...Should probably go in the Beginner's thread.
1) Yes, they can play. As you surmise, 30 chips from everyone who plays are put into a pot this person can actually win. I believe that any subsequent callers need to bet the whole BB (unless it's folded around to SB, of course), but not 100% sure of that.
2) There are several threads throughout the forum discussing whether everyone must show, or not. I believe most places will allow the others to muck, but the people still in the hand can request the cards be shown to deter collusionists.
EDIT BY ADAM: This was in the General Poker Chat, but got moved to the Beginner's area. Nice call Gd.
