New Question re Satalites..
Thanks,
When and where do satalites begin for the 2004 WSOP? If I show up in LV next week, will I find some place offering them, Binions, elswhere,????
or do they not occur until just before the WSOP?
Great forum, good people willing to help, if I run into you, the drinks are on me.

WSOP satellites
Was in Vegas over Thanksgiving and asked.
The poker room manager at the Horseshoe said they might put satellite info on the website this year. (I tried to impress upon him how great an idea that would be...)
Anyway, this is from memory, but it's something like....
Satellites start in January. $175 buy-in (maybe $200) for a seat at one of ten one-table tournaments. The 10 table winners play, and the winner of that gets a seat in the World Series.
I *believe* he said there were satellites through April. Seems like some of them had slightly different structures, but I can't remember for sure.

Looks like Binions was shut down a week or two ago. Harrah's is buying them, and they have said the 2004 WSOP will be held, but I haven't heard when or where. Anyone know? Thanks.
