PLEASE put spoiler alterts in title or at top of post and then your message further down.
The only real way I can enjoy watching the coverage is if I don't know what happened. While it may be a little foolish of me to go clicking 2008 ME threads I thought there was a chance you were playing or I dunno (I forget it's going on right now).

79 left and only Hellmuth and Matusow remain of the top pros. Hellmuth sits as one of the shorter stacks at 721K with The Mouth on 1.17m (av is 1.73m).
Tiffany Michelle sits in 5th and she looks hot. Cardplayer list her winnings to date at $1,285 from some WPT event in 2006. Here is her picture, I know who I'm rooting for if Hellmuth and Matusow bust out

mmmm... You actually rooting for Hellmuth? Him winning will be bad for poker, we will never hear the end of it :p
I'd love to see the mouth wins this.
I actually thinks he's a great player, when he manages to keep his cool.

Hellmuth out in 45th place, Matusow is running great and sits with about 3.3m chips. The leader has about 9m chips, the average is about 3.1m chips and the hottie has over 5m. It's all looking good at the moment!

It's officially going to be another no-name, unless Brandon Cantu lucksacks his way to victory ala Bay 101.
I am 100% rooting for Tiffany Michelle to at least make the final table. If you want to talk about good for Poker, a woman winning this thing would be absolutely huge. When combined with the "weird" final table setting and new TV hype, it could be Moneymaker-esque.

Word. Plus hotness is always welcome.
Perving aside, she looks to be playing great from the updates I read and having hovered around the top of the pile for so long now, she deserves to make the FT.

Speaking of the WSOP, I see that Jacobo Fernandez cashed seven times in this year's WSOP to take the WSOP POTY title (assuming no-one left in the ME can top him). That's pretty awesome.

11 left and I gotta go to work
Dennis Phillips: 23,800,000
Ylon Schwartz: 16,900,000
Peter Eastgate: 13,960,000
David Rheem: 13,800,000
Dean Hamrick: 13,490,000
Scott Montgomery: 13,400,000
Joe Bishop: 12,000,000
Craig Marquis: 11,800,000
Ivan Demidov: 9,800,000
Darus Suharto: 8,700,000
About five of them have six figure tourney wins to their names and only a couple are total unknowns so it looks like this year there is no Yang or Rahme!

Some of them are good players, but they are still effectively "unknowns."
Also, Fernandez only won POTY in Cardplayer's ridiculous system. Lindgren was the official WSOP POTY, and I think any system that didn't have him winning is extremely flawed. Any system that didn't have him, Greenstein, and John Phan in the top 5 has serious flaws. Not saying Fernandez didn't have a great World Series, but he didn't win an event. That should be a requirement for POTY IMO.
