4 bb / 100 is good?
4 bb / 100 is supposedly good. so if you do the math at .1/.2 thats $.8 every 100 hands, at 100 hands an hour, that's $.8 an hour.
is it really worth it playing the lower limits? am i doing the math wrong?

People don't play .10/.20 to pay the bills. If someone is following correct bankroll management, and they are only rolled for micro stakes, they play to build their bankroll, and, more importantly, to get better at the game. You can't jump right to high enough stakes where your hourly rate seems "worth it" and expect to win.
And technically, you probably saw winrate expressed as PTBB/100, which stands for Poker Tracker Big Bets/100, and a PTBB = twice the big blind. So in .10/.20, a 4.0 winrate would be $1.60 per 100 hands.

I definitely think the reason for playing micro limits is to a) have a good time or b) to slowly build a bankroll to be able to move up to higher stakes. In other words you don't really have to think about your current hourly wage since your goal is to increase the win rate as you move up.
I also think that 4bb/100 might be a bit pessimistic in the micro limits.
