I'm not sure why that seemed like a playable had from the start. (Big grain of salt, I'm no stud player).
But, you have second-worst pair, no flush draw, a runner-runner-runner draw to a baby straight.
Given that you stayed, you've improved to a straight draw. If you think your straight will win given the other players' likely hands, call.

Isnt this a high/low game? He may have been shooting for the low.

Well, from playing Omaha/8 (admittedly different), 865 is a real bad low.

The point of this post is pretty much useless with what the other players had. I folded the river because the other player was showing 7532. I figured he would have another low in the whole and I was wrong. I would have taken the low.

I wouldn't have even seen fourth street with this hand in most circumstances. Certainly would have dumped it by fifth. You've got to get very lucky to hit either best high or best low -- not a good situation in a game where your objective is to scoop.

I think the real decision here is on either 4th or 5th street. The hand is certainly good enough to play on 3rd street, so I disagree with fishy there. However, you need to pay careful attention to the cards other people get on 4th street. If it looks like you will have problems making a good low and there's significant action, it might be time to get out. By 5th street, you need to know where you stand--from the looks of it, you have a low pair, a busted straight, and a bad low. I think folding is fairly clear on 5th street.
