A betting limit I don't understand
Hi all ,
sometimes on my site there is a betting limit when ever there is a SS in play.
Say 3 people are in the pot. SB MP and LP
SB check, I lead from the MP, LP SS is pushing allin.
SB check, then my option are only call or fold.
I can not raise more.
Is that a normal rule?
Why is that?

If the reraise is less than half the original raising amount, it does not count as a full raise and closes the action. That is usually a fairly standard rule.

We had a thread about this rule a little while back:

Snoogins has a great explanation for the reason it is in the game.
