A New Idea, H.O.S.E.D
I recently played a fun cash game (nickel-dime-quarter with $10-$20 buy-in) with my friends, where we decided to play a rotational game, HOSED, which is basically HORSE with Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw instead of Razz.
Hold'em
Omaha 8-or-better
Seven Card Stud
Eight-or-better Stud
Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw
Every cycle (full rotation of the dealer button), we would rotate games. We played a $0.05 - $0.25/$0.50 spread (that is, you can bet between 5 cents and 25 cents in the early rounds, and between 5 cents and 50 cents in the later rounds). For Hold'em, Omaha, and Triple Draw, there was only one blind, and for the Stud games, there is no ante, but the low card on board has to bring in. It was a great time, and it's a really good way to learn and practice the other games. I recommend it any time you guys want to play a fun home game for a little cash, or for a tournament where you need a break from NL Hold'em.
