AA in BB vs UTG on coordinated board

Postby LeeG » Sat Feb 14, 2009 2:34 am GMT

6 max, 50NL. Effective stacks $85

UTG raises to 2. Action folds to BB who has A
:spade: A :club: . Raises to 7. UTG calls.

Flop: 8  T  J :club:

Hero bets 15 V Calls.
Flop K :spade:
Hero bets $15, V goes AI. Hero has covered.

V has played quite a few hands and been pretty aggressive but not shown down a bad hand (probably about 40VPIP). H has played fewer hands but been caught in a few bluffs.

Hero?

without reads id prolly just go all in or close to it on the turn, checking isn't really an option imo

He didn't check....

I don't like the bet size on the turn, I think it shows weakness which complicates our decision. With the size of our preflop raise, I'd just bet $30ish on the turn and call a shove.

really? we're only beating AKo, do we really want to get all our chips in the middle when such a large part of his range is crushing us. But i dont know much about 6 max.
