So I'm really having problems lately, I guess I'm kinda shy. I started to get to know some girl called carly. After knowing her for a couple weeks I decided to ask her out on a date, she said "Sure, we can go out as a date as friends." It kinda killed me because I knew that I might be screwed...or was I?

So anyhow, we go out for a nice meal followed by a walk through the park to take her home. My brain was tickin and I didn't wanna get stuck in the friends zone so as I get to her door I decided to say we're no strangers to love. You know the rules and so do I. A full commitment's what I'm thinking of, you wouldn't get this from any other guy. I just gotta tell you what I'm feeling... gotta make you understand. Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you. Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you. We've known each other for so long, your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it. Inside we both know what's been going on, we know the rules and we're gonna play it. And if you ask me how I'm feeling, don't tell me you're too blind to see.

Sounds sweet an all (and very made up) but it won't fly dude. Girls do like sweet and romantic but that is just scary. Almost like your saying you will stalk her if she says no.

Try something like..I had a really good time. I hope we can go out and do this again...who knows...maybe in time we can even go out as more then friends.

Or you always got the preferred THP method...grab a large club, knock her out and drag her by the hair back to your cave...

Yes, and that's why I told him turn it down. Then after this I went back and reread the statement. For some reason this cheesy ass tune hit my head...then I knew what was going on...

But honestly Mrs. J...being a female, can you tell me you never heard guys get cheesy in hopes of attracting your attention?...
