all in etiquette

Postby bornlate » Sat Apr 02, 2011 1:25 pm GMT

when a player is all in,and there are other players in the hand with him
are all the players in the game supposed to check all the way out hoping someone
takes the all in player out,or should you be betting if you cards hit the board
rather then wait for another player to beat you? this is in a cash game.

The only reason to do so would be in a tourney once your ITM and knocking that player out would mean an increase payout to the players left. It makes no sense to do so in a cash game, if you feel you have a better hand or could knock out a better hand by betting get after it then.
