Chip cost
Actually the cost is not $.90 vs $1.25. It's $.90 vs $1.16 since you need to subtract the $49.99 from the set cost to cover the case, cards and dice in order to calculate the true per chip cost.
Still a 22.4% discount on the chips and 21.6% discount overall...

It doesn't look like NJ would be willing to drop the price more if we did a group buy, so I don't really see any point in it. The only exception being those that don't want full sets splitting with those that want more than 500 or less than 500.

Well, I'm officially the proud new owner of an NJ clay set. They'll ship tomorrow.
Man, my Desert Sands better sell on eBay or I'll be putting my car on eBay next.
I know a lot of people dislike the NJ clays more than a little bit, but, the more I played with them, the more I wanted them. I'm weird I guess.
