How stupid do you have to be to not understand that writing "NOT PAULSON" in an item description is only used to make it show up when someone types "Paulson" in? People shouldn't allowed to scam others into buying a shit product. If they did something like that on TV, they would be nailed for false advertisement.

This has reached stupidity levels I have never seen before.
Lets get this straight.
If i was to go on TV and advertise something as"not a pair of nike trainers" then there is no chance in hell that I could be sued for false advertising for selling a pair of non Nike shoes. It is there in black and white NOT is this word recognisable to you yeltzen beacause it seeems not.

Like it isn't abundantly clear that the chips are not Paulsons when they are called something else.
Maybe I will sell my Kia Sedona on ebay and put that it is not a Ferrari just so everyone is clear about that.
Later,
TT

The point is, Mr. Smarty Pants, that when people are looking for true Paulson chips on eBay, some jackass' Blue Chip sale will appear because he has "NOT PAULSON" in the title. That's spamming, plain and simple. It's making listings that the buyer DOES NOT WANT TO SEE appear.

When I sold my TR Kings, I put "not Paulson" in the title. The auction got delted the next day -- violation, misleading title. I included 1 Paulson chip so that I could get hits.

I sleep much better when people think my TR Kings are Paulsons and pay me more for them! Clay is clay right?

Putting "Not Paulson" in the title is clearly keyword spamming. Are these sellers hoping that someone will accidentally buy their chips? No. But they're hoping someone searching for Paulsons will see their auction and say to themselves, "Hmmm, those look good, I've never heard of them before, but they're probably just as good as Paulsons." It's an attempt to gain traffic to their auction, pure and simple.
This is done with golf clubs all the time. Some sellers even put in their auction descriptions something like, "Not Titleist, but just as good!"
