Alright, UB starting to edge me someone please tell me...
Okay, get this, I'm sure your all aware of my post about me staritng to be curious of UB well get this.
I go into .25/.50 room at first lay down $10 okay I play first hand I get K,J Suited, well awesome!
flop comes X K X, I bet guy re raises I call
Turn: 2
we go all in
River: 2
Guy shows A, 2 wins my top pair kings with 3 of kind two's.. really pissed me off but oh well I guess bad luck?
5 seconds later I goto another room .10/.25 NL
sit first hand ( like the one above ) I get dealt A,8 off okay I call whatnout
board comes A,X,8 rainbow ( I have two pair right now ) , awesome I bet someone reraises I go all in ( once again for $10 they call )
Turn:9
River:4
Opponet shows 9,9 wins $10 with three 9's.
Now, I'm extremely pissed I played these hands correctly and people were callin my ALL in's with pair's of 9's and Ace high when King's or Aces is on the board?! I dont know but something is telling me.. what ... the... F...
Right now I'm so pissed that these cards happened back to back on me If someone could explain to me what is with this I'm more glad to listen did I play his wrong, was I just ''unlucky'' or did I mysteriously get screwed out of my $20? I'm wanting to email UB about this but their hand history is shit, if you log off you basically loose it so I have no way going back to it. If I do email em what should I say? I'm sure ill get the ' random number generator ' but this is too much, I mean ALL in when I clearly had the odds on my side ( as I said before something is fuxed up with odd's online ) and wa-boom.
Right now, I'm flamming and thinking of retiring from UB but as much as I enjoy playing ( I even enjoy not winning just as long as its not to shit like this ) but I dont want, but then again I'm sick on loosing to ''Ultimateriver.com''
Thanks guy's

get a clue, just because something probably won't happen doesn't mean it can't happen. you will get much, much unluckier than that and it doesnt mean the deck is stacked against you. if you think you're suppposed to win every hand you play "the right way" you dont understand the first thing about poker.

Your feelings on this are understood, trust me, but I don't see what emailing anyone is going to do about it. Put it this way, for every bad beat there is a miracle card for someone else. I know it sucks to get outdrawn when your hand SHOULD have won but hey....isn't that the nature of the beast? Haven't you caught a river card that didn't finally make a hand but it improved your hand enough to beat a hand that had you beat until then? I don't even play at UB and I've got shoe prints on my monitor where I've been "screwed" as I see it. Keep playing a tight game and those fools. or ones like them, will end up paying you back.

I really get f-----g annoyed too
3/10 I've been there, my full houses beat by higher, Aces and Kings beat by someone holding 2-x and river-turn drops duces and on and on and on. There are days I cant even get suited cards 2-3 and I just take it. I don't play no limit though, just limit and I wait and wait. I find this the most dullest and boring thing to do on this earth but I do it and I win. I only play penny ante, 25/50 is the highest, and I hope to only play with people who are dumber than I and believe me I am really challenged. I cant figure odds I don't know what pot odds are to hand odds. I'm just stupid and really challenged in math but yet I win and I wait only for the good cards and sometimes I win and sometimes I lose but I try to win more than I lose and leave when I'm ahead, even if it is after 10 minutes. Time doesn't matter, its the bottom line that does. And I leave all this on the computer when I'm done and I can take it or leave it. I like horse racing better anyway, Easier to figure the odds. Regards, Really Annoyed

first of all, I consider myself to be a consertive player, going all in when I believe I have what noone else can beat and playing primerier hands.
I'm sorry but if you cant say you would of bet the hell out of the hands I had than I dont think you can call yourself a very good player.
And I cooled off now and reliaze I lost and i'm over it, guess I had a phil moment.

If you think about it . . . pushing all in on a correct play almost makes a bad beat happen. You took a hard hit because you were commited, right?

Im not sure I understand. In your first example, the board has a K and 2 rags right? you have K with a J kicker? This is a hand to go all in with? Really? After the dude raised you? Was the pot raised preflop? Unless you can see through the other fellas computer and know he is on A2, that is a horrible all in, imo. In the second example, it seems like you were sucked out on. My advice...... put dude on your buddy list. This is exactly the same kind of fella you want to sit with.. every time. If he will risk all his stack on a small PP with an overcard onboard, do us all a favor, and post his name here.

Well, I went all in because he raised about 3,4 bucks and everyone folded leaving me left, so i re-raised ( think that is how it happened )
The rags were like 7 4 or something I cant rememember so , I was pretty sure I had this guy down, I was guessing he may have a pair atleast but low.
Sadly, I dont have his name, I Quickly steamed rolled myself out.

I was having fun at UB for a while. I would put in $50 and play low stakes. My play has developed to where I could play well an make $30 to $50 a night or break even. I could do this for a week straight and never be off more than $10 of where I started.
So I started cashing out on a regular basis. $30 a night pays for a lot of gas and groceries.
Big mistake.
Now My winning % has gone from 30% to 11%.
I would be angry at myself if it was a matter of tilt but it isn't. I have been playing a solid game.
So I decide to go over and try Paradise.
Problem solved.
I am back in the action and have similar success.
I start cashing out.
Big mistake.
No sooner than I start flowing a little cash does it become imposible to win.
I can take a bad beat, but when you max the pot with trip Kowboys only to get beat by a shrewd player catching his flush on the river holding 7,2....you start to do some soul searching.
So I head over to Party poker.
I'm back in the saddle. Good play. Good patience. Bank a little coinage.
Start cahing out a little.
Oops. I should have known. Play for three hours at a time and can't get a card higher than a Jack and a kicker higher than a 5.
Any thoughts?

Interesting.. proposing some massive scale conspiracy agaisnt better palyers, giving them predestined cold cards or bad beats in order to lose money back to the house? Could UB or paradise be cracked and the cards readable to another? Hmm... I doubt it, but it makes an interesting brain teaser.
Could it be pulled off with that many players there?

Could it be cracked? Hell yes. You could do it. Certainly in the case of simply modifying the server to dick with people that have been winning. . . but any internet business can screw a person. . . How about some positive UB stories? Who's been playing there for a long time with no trouble?
