Another new chip

Postby theywood » Sun May 02, 2004 7:19 pm GMT

I was looking at nevedajacks and found another new chip:

They are selling them in sets of 500 for $199.99 with case. They are also availible at 5star for .35 each. I think that 13 grams is a little heavy, but I do like the edge spots (see pic below):

Any opinions?

Chips, I think, are like women. A little extra weight may be a nice thing, depending on how it's distributed; but heavier is not necessarily better.

That's a neat chip. They use that chip for the $5+ chips at the Tahoe Hilton Casino, among others. The Hilton uses a solid brass core and the chip is gorgeous, and it weighs a ton, I have no idea how much, but 16 grams wouldn't surprise me.
They are so expensive to make that casinos are discontinuing them, but it's nice to see them available as custom made chips. No doubt they will cost a small fortune.
