Anyone have Kems?
I recently purchased a deck of Kem cards off the net, and was just wonderinf if anyone else has them? apprently they are big in casinos and last forever, cant be bent marked etc. they did run me 25 bucks for 2 decks however, just wondering if anyone else has used them..they seem to be worth it from their description though! im tired of damn bicycle cards that lose their crispness within a week..

I wouldn't describe KEMs as 'crisp' though, if you like the crispness of bicycle you should stick with that. KEMs are like a nice, perfectly worn deck of cards but without the misshapenness (is that a word). They do take a shuffle or two to get used to because they are so slick and flexible (they fly out of the hands of many a first time user) but they are definately worth it.

They felt weird to me at first, but now I will never use another kind of card again. I can't even shuffle a "normal" deck anymore. kems are absolutely worth the money. They are not, however, indestructible. My friend creased one trying to scrape it off of the floor and a dog did a number on another. under "normal" conditions though they will last one heck of a long time. Get a set!

i love em...although some bastard lost my queen of spades (now i have to use a joker) they are ultra bendy and resilient...totally worth the money...my friend just got a deck of these "windmill" plastic cards...not as bendy but seem nice...and were only $8 shipped

We had a home game that we were playing outside when it started to mist. The kems held up nicely. They didn't warp and we were able to just wipe them off when we moved the game indoors. They weren't mine, but I have some on order. I'm just waiting (impatiently) for them to arrive. They've spoiled me. I don't like using my decks from the Mirage now. I highly recommend them.

If you plan to play Hold 'Em, I hope you bought the wide ones (2.5").
If I plan to play Hold 'Em? You mean there's another type of poker out there?
I got two decks of each size. I have players who prefer the smaller bridge-sized cards and I'm flexible so I got both and will leave it to the majority to decide which to use. Besides, you can't have too many decks of kems, right?
