AQ, small stacked and near the bubble

Postby jimmer » Fri May 08, 2009 8:03 pm GMT

We are down to the final table. BBQchips has been sat very tight. two hands previouly he he'd spent the last 10 hands sitting there with less than 1000 chips. On the last-hand-but one he shared a big pot when he pushed all-in for 657 with AT and and three callers and split the pot two ways. Last hand he pushes all-in again and wins when everyone else folds.

Then he raises again.....

I'm thinking with the amount of chips i have left i should push all-in right? Is there any reason to fold? (top 7 get paid).

Well, that looks tricky. Why would villain raise just half his stack instead of easy push with just 6BB remaining? Or is he dumb/tricky enough to do that with non-monster hands?

id say this is an easy shove
if he never folds ur risking 3295 to win 6240, w AQ
id take that any day

i dont think he does this w AA nd KK only

and id only consider a fold if 2 players who hit blinds before me had super short stacks, but id prolly still go all in since win is what u want

In your other thread, where I say with a low M you want to be first in the pot to maximize the chance of picking up the dead money, unless you have a strong hand?

This is a very strong hand. Ship it.
