Automatic Card Shufflers?
Hello.
I am in the market for an automatic card shuffler. Does anyone here have any experience with these things? I have heard that the low dollar ones are rather noisy, which is kind of turning me off to them.
My requirements are as follows:
1. Low noise level.
2. Shuffle regular casino cards as well as Kem cards.
3. Price - under $100 if possible.
4. Battery or AC - doesn't matter which.
If anyone can help out here, it'd be greatly appreciated!

I've only had experience with the cheap ones and you heard right. They area bit noisy. Plus, since each time you fill it you get one shuffle so you spend more time pulling the cards out and putting them back in than you would actually shuffling them. Keep looking for a nice one and stay clear of the cheap ones.

Thanks for the links. Unfortunately those looks to be of the same quality, and will suffer the same noise and jamming issues.
Wish there was some place that had a mid-grade (not junk, but not casino quality) card shufflers.

I have found these
http://www.shufflemaster.com/shufflers.html
http://www.tcsaces.com/products/main/products.htm
But as far as I can tell these are not available to the public. Maybe I am wrong since I have really never called these companies.

i'm willing to bet that these shufflers will be out of your price range, even if they sell to the public (which i doubt).
The classic blackjack 6-deck shuffler is sold for around $10,000 (read that in a post somewhere).

did you give those guys a call? they did have a seemingly budget shuffler that might work well for ya.

I sent them an email from my work acct (more respectable address than "fusionlangaming.com") and unfortunately have yet to hear from them.
If/when I hear something, I will certainly pass on the info to everyone here.

Harrah's in East Chicago, Indiana, installed automatic shufflers about 6 weeks ago. I HATE them.
These puppies (supposedly) cost over 2 grand each (yeah, I'm having serious trouble believing that, but it must include the union labor to cut the table, trim the fabric and wire the things). Anyway they beat the hell out of the cards. The pictures are litterally wearing off after just a few weeks. Plus they're stopping games at most tables about once a night to replace a card--you got extra sets of Kems you can "part out?"
But mostly I hate the part where I don't see them shuffled. Call me old-fashioned. So we get 4 or 5 more hands an hour. So what?

I would believe that the casino shufflers cost 2 grand. Especially since when selling something to a casino you double the price. I would.
