Bad Beat payout y or n
In a weekly home game, when any full house qualifies for a bad beat, should it be paid if neither hand actually wins the pot? Example: two full houses get beaten by a quad when the board shows a set.

The key to answering this question is the word 'homegame'. There is no right or wrong answer with this one - put it to the vote and go with it.
We don't have a bad beat jackpot at our homegames. Instead we pay £5 to enter and pay an additional £1 for the highest hand of the tourney. So sometimes it's won by a full house or quads, other times it may get won by something as minor as trips. Sometimes a player will just pay £5 to enter the tourny but not pay to play the highest hand.
No big deal, just make sure it's agreed before the game starts.

Ummm...isn't not winning the pot part of the definition of a bad beat?

Well honestly that isn't a bad beat in my opinion. But if that qualifies at your home game then pay the higher full house. or make them split idk.
Jimmer has it right though w/e is agreed upon before game is what counts.
