Bad Beat ???
ok...it was sooooo frustrating playing a tournament when you dont have a single good hand to play with ~ i was in a multi-table tournament and survived for an hour on UB...i went in for only about 2 or 3 hands with me being the Big Blind...we started with 1000 TC and i had about 920 TC after an hour....i have gotten junk hands except for a KQ off which i shared a pot with another same hand~ other than that...i didn't win a hand...so i was dealt KQ of spades and raises the table...and 4 callers...hmm...having not played ANY hand at all...people called me...the flop paired me a K, so i bet ....2 callers...turn comes, i go all in on a high pair and a straight draw, they both called...and i got beat by a straight~
neways...just pissed off i wasn't dealt a single playable hand till the hand i got knocked off the tournament with...have this happened to anyone ???
and by junk hands i mean junk hands...i've gotten all the 2 4 os and the 2 5 os s that's possible~

i kinda got something similar today in a freeroll
i got about 5 or 6 hands in a row with combinations of Ace, King, Queen
every single flop was in the 2 - 6 range
i had no chance at all - if i didnt have bad luck id have no luck - lol;)

i play LOTS of 1 buck SNG's.... it happens to me ALL THE TIME.
just part of the game i guess. you just gotta do your best to stick it out when your gettin nuthin and hope you can last long enough to play aggressive on the decent hands.
a multi table might be a bit different as far as the best way to play... so i wouldn't be able to say if you made the right play or not against a str8 draw... but late in a SNG like that when the blinds are starting to get prohibative... i'd probably have played just as aggressive with that hand.

because you were not getting cards, you got impatient and went all-in with just an ok hand.......but that is not uncommon. with a straight possibility out there, i would definitely not have gone all in with that hand. in the situation you were in, you have to be extra patient and wait for the right hand to play. i know, easier said than done and i have had my bouts of foolish aggressiveness too.
