usually if people name a hand they can definitely beat it, and considering PF a set here is quite likely.

But im still shipping it every time.

Its weak, Ive played that way early on in tourneys too with AK because...Ive been running bad, the player is aggressive, Im looking to trap, yadda.

You SHOULD have reraised, being on the button none the less. You have excellent position. The reraise also cuts the field from the 6 people in the hand down to 2 possibly 3.

You dont know if it was a good lay down or not. Your reraise preflop lets you know this. If he comes over the top it represents a pocket pair or your up against another AK,J,or Q. NOW on the flop when he says what he says he has a monster!

IM with KEMICS here you have top pair with awesome kicker, you also have around 1000 left after your call.
