Best hands

Postby Katchem » Mon Jan 05, 2004 1:20 am GMT

Okay, I'm reading Ken Warren teaches Texas Hold 'EM. In chapter 4 he has practice for reading the board and figuring out what could be the best 4 hands.

So here's the board:

Kh 7h 2h 2d 7d

I say best 4 hands in order are:
4 7's
4 2's
K's full 7's
K's full 2's

the book says 4th best hand is 7's full K's

Who's right?

He is. There would be no such hand of kings full of 2's on that board. Think about it.........

NO....Kings full of 7's is what they would have, If you had pocket K's.....Seems how that would beat the kkk77 > kkk22 see it yet? With pockets thats the best full house. So thats how its taken.

That was a pretty cool question. Warren was just trying to make you think--not expaining everything. Better writers do that.
