best poker chip quantity denomination for 500 chips

Postby teekan » Thu Apr 29, 2004 3:05 am GMT

Hello everyone. Love the site, long time visitor but never really posted. getting 500 custom chips, but want to know the best possible quantity denomination for em.

I'm gettin 5 different colors

5
10
25
50
100

100 of each so far. If anybody can give me a better quantity, so I could get more use out of the chips in case I need to make more chips because of more players wanting to play or sumthing.

thanks for all your help!

How many people are you usually going to be playing with? What kind of limits or blinds? I'd probably go with:

5 - 150
10 - 100
25 - 100
50 - 100
100 - 50

Usually there are up to 7 peeps playin, but I want the set to be adaptive to all situations. Like being able to have enough chips for 13 people playin maybe one day.

I've also had the chips just say the 5,10,25,50,100 denominations with out the cent or $ sign, so later in life I can use then as 5$ chips instead of 5 cents right now :D ( all my friends are so broke I have to play this low, sad isn't it?)

theywood, I'm getting custom chips at pokerchips.com I did alot of research on the internet at all the poker chips sites and pokerchips are the best. I have a 300 set of composite clay suited chips now (blah)

I can't wait to get the chips! I'll post a pic of them when I get them. thanks for all the help! anymore great quanity/denom. would be great, but that looks like the best quan. of each.

Oh yeh, if ya didn't know Pokerchips.com made the chips for Rounders. They have a whole section, in the about us section that tells and shows pictures of what they were making from the begining and pictures of all the pokerchips they made from then till now. pretty kewl!

Yes I know about pokerchips.com. I got a sample from them last week. They were real helpful when I emailed about getting samples. I also bought a sample of what seems to be them the chips from BuyPokerChips.com. I like the chips (weight, feel, looks), but I am not too sure about the brass flecks. Until I get my Chipco samples I am leaning toward a custom set from pokerchips.com.

I hope you like your chips.

I'm sure I'll love my chips when I get them too!

Yeh, Pokerchips really go out of there way to make there customers happy too. And the chips just look so sick! I didn't even see a sample! (only on the internet)

Will hopefully get the chips by mid may.

Good luck on finding your chips! come back an tell us how those chipco chips are!

click on the about us button on the right. Then click on all of the different choices on the blue chip in the middle. Yeh when I went to the site the first couple times I missed it too. It's a shame too because that part is great on the site.

The choices to pick are

Our History
Casino Use
magazine copy
Movie chips
testimonials

Definately check out Our History, casino use, and Movie chips
