Blank Blue Chips?

Postby SCV15 » Sun Apr 24, 2005 8:17 pm GMT

I know Blue Chip used to sell chips with no inlay with edge spots for something like 50 cents a chip, but is that offer still available and what is the minimum order? I'm thinking about buying some ASM chips from pokerchips.com but if I can get the same price from bluechip with more edge spot options I'll have to go with that.

thanks

I'd like to know the same thing. Since Bluechip doesnt have a website I think you have to call them directly??? Anyone have the number??

SCV15 if you find anything out, let me know.

Don't know if this will help anyone, but last week I pulled out some almost new Paulson H&C chips (solid color 25¢, TCR#N3130) that were made for Circus Circus Reno back in the early 80's. Stacked them up against 20 Blue Chips and 20 TR Kings of recent vintage and came up with a with quite a revelation. All three stacks were virtually the same height, which would put them all in the 3.2mm thickness range. Didn't break out the calipers to check the diameter, but a rough feel would put them about midway between the TR Kings and the Blue Chips. Will have to break out the scale at some point, but I'd guess their weight to be in the low 9s being noticably lighter than the TR Kings.
