Blog's problems

Postby MrDarling » Mon Mar 19, 2007 4:42 am GMT

Hi Mods,

I seem to have problems posting a Pic in my blog.
When I try to upload one, there is a script error. When I try to embed one from my server the script adds a space some where in the middle of the link so the picture is not found.

Just thought you should know

Danny

Will have a look into it. The space issue sounds like simple word wrapping, and the upload is surely just a permissions problem on the thp copy. Should be straight again shortly.

Permission/path issue has been corrected. 'Space in URL' issue: word wrapping has been extended in the comments by 50% (now 60 character). If you continue to experience this problem, pm or email me directly.

Thanks for the quick action.

For some reason I am not able to edit the post in the blog . It asks for a password but doesn't like the one I give.
Is editing blogs Admin only privilege?

Not sure I understood that one. lol.

Are you trying to edit your own blog article? If so, yes you should be able to. If original author of the article is someone else, well then only they have that privilege.

Or do you mean editing comments? If so, then yes, only the blogger has access to that feature. Perhaps it would be a nice add on to scribble in a comment authors edit tool.

Editing my own blog entry doesn't seem to work for me. I can easily edit my comments but when I try to edit my blog entry it asks me for a password again and claims it is wrong. (I know my password as I needed to enter it when typing in the blog in the first place)

Oh my lol. I just went to have a look for myself and found the problem: it's trying to send you somewhere you're not allowed to be... Give me a few minutes and it will be fixed.
