Since monday I've been playing maybe 1 or 2 tournaments a day, and about 3 hours of pot limit omaha,finished 18th in a tournament twice where 1st is $6k which was annoying but played a mtt tonight too. Finished 16th for $800 first is $20,000 . Bit annoying but I feel like I played well with the situations I was dealt. My final hand was rough , I had A-8 in the sb, the blinds were big but not big enough to shove really. He checked it came A 6 7 , with 2 hearts, I felt with the pot and the board, I made a slightly uncharacteristic move and shoved, he had 67s and won. Meh , happens.

Onto the omaha though, and I have had a really good week , I haven't been putting in sick hours, just 2 or 3 a day and its really been good. I made about $1,600 maybe more from omaha this week so I am very happy about that.

Coming 16th was a bit of a teaser though, cos If I got a top 3 in it I would have bought a ticket to vegas tommorow, but I am playing well at the moment,and with consistent winnings...

Got back to nottingham about 5 days ago, been playing tournaments the last 3, and just getting very frustrated at moment. Not while I am playing just afterwards when I bust out. I feel I'm playing strong enough that a good cash will come, then I can play slightly higher buy ins, but at moment its just a big grind.

To be fair though I am not playing a great deal of tournaments currently, my usual schedule is the doubles which are very cheap, ($10) and a $26 Double Stack. I have gone deep alot in the doubles but I need to get top 2 really or somehow muster up a double Ft or best average cash to make some reasonable money, then the double stacks I like my chances but just not getting rub of the green late on.

Just now for instance, im about 50 off cashing, i'm sitting sound with 17,600 bb is 800 I think, a 7k shoves from ep, button calls and I find AK off in the bb, I reshove it. He dwells for ages, making it obvious he has AQs or JJ or something and calls with 10-10, and I lose. But...

I`ve been really bad lately, really not been playing much and when I have I haven't cared enough about how im playing.

Not even sure the reason why I`ve been a twip lately but hoping posting on here and going home for easter will help me get back on track.

Just arrived in peterborough, gonna spend some time at home , sort my head out, I'm likely to be in nottingham for at least 1 more year. We found a house that we're going to rent, better area , character, etc. Which should be good. I got WSOP I still wanna get to this year, although I'd say its more likely I won't be going if things are how they are right now.

If I do well in the next 2/3 weeks I ll be taking a break to somewhere in europe for a few days, maybe vienna. And joining the gym when I go back after Easter.

Well, I played alot of those wsop step sats on ps tonight and played shit and ran shit. Thought they looked simple enough, but maybe Im adopting bad strat. I ll take a better look in the next few days.

Aint played loads of poker this week, played the odd f/o online with no joy really. Played a tourney at casino on sunday and came 5th, losing too many allins on the FT to give me any chance really.

Didn't play poker monday/tuesday online, then played live wednesday, no cards or good situations , and no FT there.

Tonight played at casino and busted out in a pot I had no choice in really, alot of ingredients came together to bust me out, I ll tell now: I had 3-6 off in sb, bb was 1,200 I had 9,200 when hand started. UTG threw out a 5k chip, but dealer ruled it to be a flat call, then utg +1 called, as did the button. I limped in from sb , as there was too much out there imo to fold,bb checked and flop came Q-9-3 rainbow. We all checked, turn was 3d. Putting 2 diamonds out there,I could have pushed but with 4 ppl to my left I felt someone would throw out a bet. We all checked to button who fired out 4,000. I obviously shoved in my last 8,500. BB folded, as did utg , then Utg +1 called...

Reasonable last few days, played WCOOP 2mill gtd, came less then 100 off cashing when my JJ was against QQ. I played well throughout though so im not annoyed with myself.

Came 4th in an omaha hi lo mtt for $216 recently, 1st in a Omaha Hi mtt for $535 and today cashed in stars $5k gtd hi lo mtt , with alot of help from Craig, but it was good to get some tips from someone who knows the game well. I kinda just figurin that game still, I basically implement my tournament game/style then try and improve my understand the startin hand requirements etc etc. But yeah, played that and a $10 rebuy today, came 82nd in the $45k gtd on stars, bit annoying cos I was involved in a huge pot, i had flopped 2 pair from the sb, the bb shoved , and a limper called, I re shoved, limper passed, I was against flush draw , and he rivered it. That was a 121,000 chip pot which would have put me close to 150k, instead i lost was really short stack, shoved A3 into 66 and lost .Meh.
