Back alreadyOkay, I blatantly acted to hastily few weeks ago and have decided to keep up my blogging since it helps my game and is productive thing to do. I admit i was considering leaving thp anyway to focus more but the blog entries have always been useful to me. So im back.
Well, Lets update now , I decided on monday to go back home and visit my family for a few days and also play the FTOPs. Event 1 and 2 were bad for me as I didnt cash in either and had bad fortune , my flopped flush 20 mins in all in against trip 6s which filled on the river, and in in horse, my A-A-2-5 no good vs Q-Q-2-6. eh eh eh. Cue Event 3 and a deep finish where i played very selectively by my standards (12% view flop i think) and finished 14th for $6,100. I was dead set on a big cash though and was disapointed to be honest, to go through 2700 people only to finish 14th where the final table is sick payouts (1st was $150,000!) is frustrating then losing vs KQ with AQ didnt help. Event 4 and I aint much of an omaha player , but I did some reading before , had some help from Craig/Crack and thought I played relatively well for a newbie, I managed to outlast a 600 field to finish 24th and in the process play with some big pros like Stuart patterson,Paul Wolfe and Allen Cunningham (who I was playing with quite alot), I lost a huge pot late on worht like $350,000 chips which would surely ensure a FT place and lucrative moneyt once more, but i lost a tight position all in where i think i was 57% favorite or something? cunningham won though and i was left short, with my AKK rag, losing to AKQJ with an Ace and Queen on river. Meh, $900 and more ftop pts. Prior to event 4 I attempted to cash out $3900 but it kept failing to go through so I emailed full tilt sayind Id take cheque.Well next morning , I wake up and find my account is locked cos of multiple accounts, ffs, genuine error here honest. I must have registered few years ago , forgot the password etc and signed up again. Well, long story short its policy to only use the initialone, which is Ciso Account. This obviously was annoying since it ruins any chance of Ftop Leaderboard dominance which i felt was at least a possibility since my strongest events were yet to come. They said they d send my money over to my inital account if I email from the registered account. I have done this from 3 possible email adresses i may have signed up with and no positive feedback or money in my Ciso account. This is nasty , just automated responses saying 48-72 hrs and no response. Well, I thought f*ck, I am gonna play Ftop event 5 $216 buy in Nlhe 6 handed. I again cashed out of a 2070 field to come in like 144th playing well and busting out with 10 Js on a 8 9 4 board, my opponent held 8-5 suited and turned and rivered a boat. Bah. Another cash, but small one this time. I played Omaha hi lo for the hell of it and busted out early and am taking a miss on the $200 rebuy tonight since its very pricey and I dont even have the money they said Id get back yet. I got back to nottingham today, played the live comp and busted out like 22nd losing AJ vs A9 vs AT ( I was very short stacked), entered the $100k and wasnt in the mood for folding QQ pre flop 10 mins in and walked into A-A. Bad play and bad luck by me there. Well, Think thats all, I read that I got into the top 100 of Pocket 5s leaderboard for hte month but this isnt news, I have been 69th on there few months ago for a bit. Currently I am 142nd for 2007 and am hoping to break into the top 100 and staying there, its a big ask though cos I dont realy play nearly as many tournaments as these guys, but I have seen them play alot lately, and think I know a way of beating them without playing too fancy all the time. Also, there results are impressive cos they play a very very high volume (like me in the $55k i guess), I will be playing a fair bit over the weekend to build my BR up some , and hopefully this full tilt issue is resolved. Think thats everything covered, I ll post in a day or 2 with news on my FTp and mtts. Ciso LUCKY BALDO!
