Happy new year all. Unfortunately I started new year ill , trying to sleep through it then eat, drink, anything to keep my mind off it.
Poker wise, I been playing bit more this week. Cashed in 7 of the last 10 mtts I entered , 17th, 13th etc though isnt amazing.
I had a good session on interpoker and turned $150 into $1050 in cash games, then furhter still when i came back and done some mtts. Cashing for £400 in there 40k gtd on new years day.

Last night I entered and won a $33 rebuy, pot limit hold em 6 handed tournament....weird eh? Well I really liked the format to be honest. Pot limit encourages more play, and I didnt rebuy at all so I didnt spend anything really. I got some big hands during rebuy which put me in top 5 and I stayed there pretty much all mtt.
Final table I lost Q-Q vs KK and became the ss, recovered though and turned it around. Heads up I had a good lead but on the last hand got lucky. He riased pot from sb ,(bb 12k he had like 240k), I re raised pot, after somet thought he went allin. IT was 111k to call for 400k, I called and my 3-7 beat his A-10.$3,270 in the bag and a good start to the new year i guess. I am going back to nottingham in a few days, hopefully get a little work done before I go back. Didnt set any goals etc for this year , but some would be -

Get high in the leaderboard at the casino ( doesnt necesarily mean play all mtts, just improve ratio of FTs)

Dont play so many random things like sngs, mtts etc...try get a bit of structure to the way I go about poker.

Play at least 1 more big live event.

Pass this year at uni.

I got a good roll again now,I am playing better then ever before, my spending habits are still pretty bad but I gonna counter that by giving more money to CAFOD. I used to give them pretty regularly and I think it would be good to give on a regular basis....or If i win a tournament or go far to give a %. Next year, if I improve at the rate I had last year, I will be well chuffed.....Happy new year.
