Well, I been playin 1/2 mtts a night and i kid you not, I cashed in the region of 75% of them, I finalled 2 of them coming 9th and several 11th ,13 th etc. Then today comes I had a good day today, didnt think about poker played football, had a nice dinner, watched somet TV then night comes and I thought what the hell lets play some nice tourneys.

So I entered the million gtd and a $200 hu comp. I wasnt playin many hands in the million so not much to say there then in the heads up mtt I was going thro my opponents without too much fuss, basically my strat was to let them give me their chips, I played v v passive which is contrary to how i usually do- but its $200 entry so i know they are gonna play agressive! Anyhoo I busted out 1 round before the cash with Q-9 on a 9-9-5 flop , he had K-9....nice.

The million i lost 9-9 vs AJ , runner flush....nice

Then final mtt till now , the 2nd chance, I runnin badly when I have A-Q and hit 2 pair on a A-5-7-2-Q board and just call on river, he had 3-4 ...nice. then lost AT vs 79 too. Well basically top 153 pay , i finished 161, I had A-8 in bb and 9 xbb , sb pushed me in , I made the right decision in callin after some deliberation, he had 6-K, flop came A-8-K,7,K. NICE!


I am likely going to nottingham tommorow to play a live mtt since its been a while and chill too.

But , forget the recent whinings, we know im not gonna completely quit playing online, but I have noticed I am playing significantly less then i used to .

I probably aint playing my best at the moment too, and im clearly frustrated.

I am just thinking what the next step for me in poker is , maybe I ran my course online ya know, maybe just the odd live tourneys would be better for me - point is , its lookin increasingly likely I wont be in this online scene forever.

wondering if you ever put any thought into depositing into UB and/or Bodog basically to play in their big guarantee sunday tournaments ... theres been 20 - 30K of overlay in those consistently for months now. smaller fields means theres a better chance for you to cash/final table ... top few places in those tournaments is a 5 figure score

I downloaded Bodog today but I cant really login properly, Only can see the tables via an internet explorer type thing. Cheers for the tip though - smaller fields are much better for me.
