June 24/06 - Another losing gamePlayed a $5 5 man SnG. It wasn't a very good game.
One particular hand: CO is VERY aggressive player. He'll do anythign he can to get you off a hand, and will often push as hard as he can with draws. I had QJs on the button. UTG fold, CO calls. I raise 50. Blinds fold, CO calls. FLOP - Jxx , 2 suits (x is lower then J) CO bets ~ 1/2 pot, I raise, and he pushes allin. After thinking for a while, I fold. Thinking about it, I probably should have called. I think the most possible hands for him would be flush draw, TJ, and KJ. Other possibilities AJ, and a set (not Jacks). I don't think these are as likely, because the way the pot was played preflop. With the chip/blind structure we use, starting M's are a little over 16, and at this point, he had ~14. I'm not sure with an M of 14, he'd want to mess around with AJ, calling out of position (am I right in thinking this?). He could have made a set, but again, facing a raise, out of position, would he want to call? I lost a big chunk of my stack with that hand, and ended up losing to an allin shortly after my KQ vs an A6. 0 Comments Viewed 2 times |
