Ohhhhhhhh ok, I'm just an idiot

I noticed last night on UB that it said there were 28k players online. This confused the heck out of me, since under the FLHE tab, I saw maybe 25 tables populated. Went to my filter to get all limits, not just low limits, when lo and behold the TURBO BUTTON IS CLICKED, SHOWING ONLY TURBO TABLES. Retard me had the turbo filter on the entire time playing there, which explains the lack of full ring tables and really, lack of tables overall. Unclick that to show all tables, and pop goes a whole slew of FR tables from 1/2 up to 3/6. Well f*ck me in the goatass. Here I am struggling mightily with 6max because I stink at it, especially FL 6max, when all this time I had full ring tables sitting there, hidden from me because of my obsession with all things turbo. I presume it was because I was looking for turbo sngs when I first opened the client and never unclicked it, despite messing with the filter a few times after that. Sigh sigh sigh. At least now I can nutpeddle like a f*ck playing a bunch of tables, which is what I did last night and felt way way way way better. I even said on IRC how much more engaged I felt not doing 6max. I didn't realize it was that big of a difference, but so much more comfortable, especially when doing 6+ tables. Obviously not getting bombarded with tricky decisions every two seconds is a big part of that, but it felt better overall. Finally had a really nice session where I ran pretty decent too, so I'm inching closer to the 1000 mark so I can peace. Sadly I've cleared 50 in bonus money so really I'm still down a buyin at 2/4, but meh, long as I get to even I'll be alright.

At this point I'm getting the SNG itch again, as they've been the only thing poker related I've ever had somewhat consistent success at. Truth be told the only times I've ever made withdrawals is due to SNG successes, first on Stars before I got tilty as f*ck and played too long and got sick of them and started doing all the $10 rebuy tournaments, then on PartyPoker for about two months before the stupid UIGEA came about which killed that, and most recently on Tilt for about a month and a half before I let my pride get in the way and didn't lower stakes as needed. The structure just seems to suit me better, as fun as it is winning massive pots in cash games and feeling excellent. However, I have an inkling that working in cash games now and again would certainly not be a bad idea for preventing burnout. I tend to stick too much with one type of game for too long and start to lose and get frustrated and don't switch things up to keep everything fresh. Really my overall approach is what needs switching around, playing more what I want to when I want to instead of grinding out NL50 or grinding out SNGs because "that's what I'm playing at the moment." Ideally having one game that's "your game" is the way to go probably, but branching out, even into non-holdem (seven card stud woot!) can never really be a bad thing as long as you don't play above your head. Keep everything in perspective and keep it interesting for you.

As such, probably move my money back to Tilt and do some SNGs, see how I feel, maybe superturbos, maybe just turbos...probably not regulars. I want to get back into some tournaments too, and I've always liked FullTilt's tournament structure a bit better than stars, especially with payouts. Not as many massive blocks of like 150+ players getting paid the same amount. DAIRY DOUBRESSSSS-SUHHHHHHH ANYONE?!?!?!?! First things first though, clearing UB and maybe if things go well sticking around there for a bit longer to earn a bit more bonus and a bit more rakeback. Man I wish I had rakeback on Tilt though. So frustrating. Curse you random affiliate I apparently signed up through way back in the day. I'm almost positive I just googled Full Tilt and went to the website, but whatever. I'll just buy an Ipod or something with the 40000 points I have saved up and feel better. If I thought I'd be grinding a hell of a lot more, I might've stayed at Stars since they seem to reward high volume better, but meh, I've played like 1500 hands in the past four or five days and been fine with it. Just grind easy Ironman and lucksack my way into a big freeroll win and beat all three pros in SNGs and be rich a$$ ham. Also, hit UB BBJ jackpot. 261k right now. Awwwwwwww yea.

I've got deez nuts
