Righto, update! So far so good at NL50. Ran pretty hot the first two days, so the few were just piddling around, losing it back a bit, running it back up. Off the top of my head, I can say I've truly botched maybe 10 hands, like I look back over the HH on PT and vomit, with a whole basket full of minor botches I'm sure. So far I'm running 3.21ptbb/100 over the first 6600 hands which is pretty respectacle I suppose for having not played NL cash regularly for almost 3 years. Yeah, it's NL50, big whoop right Ham? Well shaddap this is a good confidence booster.
Aces are of course the mondo winner, 33 times with 100% success. Natch I just jinxed it by doing that, but that's a rather staggering number. That means over the next 67, I'm going to lose 20 times :(. More of the usual suspects at the top, queens, jacks, then AKs, then ducks! Love those sets. 63s is 7th on the list, followed closely by 64s which makes me happy because I derive a sick joy from winning with garbage hands. Biggest loser is 98s because of two hands where I flopped flush draws, one with open ender, neither of which filled, and one where I kept betting but the knob just couldn't fold his queens on a dirty board. I don't blame him I guess, I play a bit wild sometimes...still, he's a jerk. One bluff went awry as well. KQs is next because I thought a guy was full of shit, when in reality he was full of a set. KK is my third biggest loser, which I didn't even realize until this very moment looking at it. That's upsetting. I see now that looking over hand histories I had it in vs sets twice, and frankly I'm not good enough to be laying down overpairs at NL50. I'm also managing to get in a buttload of hands per day while staying sharp which is quite nice. 1500+ for the past three days, 2200 two days ago actually. Good things. Volume is good as long as you can keep playing well, and I think I handle it ok at the moment. Burnout may be coming, who knows. 10k hands/week would be excellent, not only for the profit but also to gauge how well I'm doing over the "long run." That being a month or so, but 40k hands is a decent indicator of where things might be headed and may begin to show any trends and or weak spots I have. Right now just gonna keep plugging away and enjoy it. Tilt is a non-issue really which is lovely and makes for a much more enjoyable experience. Put $600 more on stars at the moment for the reload bonus, so at least now in a week I can cut myself a check! Wee! I sure earned it. Goldstar is a foregone conclusion at this point, and Platinum Star is a definite possibility next month. I mean hell it's taken me a week basically to make Goldstar, so give me 3 more and Plat should be no sweat. Bonus FPPs for teh win. Somewhat alleviates the pain of seeing that I've paid $232.85 in rake so far. I'll treat myself to that Itouch I had my eyes on maybe. I've got deez nuts
