Shenanigans
Did an 8.80 PLO8 tournament, busted on like...the third hand, drawing to nut low, flush, and gutshot on flop. Whiff whiff, bye bye. Then did the quad shootout, got nicely screwed when I flopped a 6 high straight, get it all in by the turn which paired the board with some knucklehead with top pair of fours, and he rivered a 4 for a sweet boat. Down to 260 in chips, I managed to come back to 1200, then pissed it away because I'm bad and haven't played in a month.
NL100. About 400 hands, mostly with supa and snoobert. Good times. I somehow managed to not lose my shirt. I even made like...2/3 of a buyin. Yipee. Stayed pretty clear of Snoo, never really had a hand to play with, but supa definitely ran me over a few times. As I said on IRC, he knows that I'm really just a weak tight nit, I know he knows this, I know he's exploiting it to its fullest, and I still don't do anything about it. Two or three times I knew I should've pushed, and I didn't. I even moved the little slider all the way over, and still chickened out. Blech. Had a nice double off him with KK vs. his Q8 though, despite the fact that he managed to hit top pair and a flush draw after calling my reraise pre-flop. Luckbox, hitting a flop that hard... Overall still losing at NL100, but it's been like...2000 hands, so meh. I got spoiled with my NL50 success and my 9.67PTBB/100 winrate. Last night was definitely a wakeup call that I've got a long way to go as far as being like...good. 1917 on Stars. I've got deez nuts
