First night back I began with a splendiferous streak of 14 in a row out the money. I had finished every place outside of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, at least once. Then cashed four in a row, but sadly 2 2 3 3. Was super tired and only ended up with 26 under my belt, with a mild recovery towards the end salvaging what could've been a real crappy restart, leaving me down only 5 buyins. Reasonable.

Yesterday I started really trying to log some hours, and even then I only got up to 4.5. The positive thing was that it was nicely spaced out so I wasn't pulling heavy duty 3-4 hour sessions where I start to burn out towards the end. Mentally it was way smoother and easier, and it was more enjoyable overall. It was kind of nice giving myself a predetermined time to shut it down too, as opposed to just deciding to stop because I'm either a.) way up, or b.) getting reamed. I just stop. Similar to saying "I'm going to play X amount of SNGs right now," but I like this way better. Ok I'll play for 2 hours, go eat some lunch and relax for an hour, then go back for another hour, go for a run, another hour, etc. It also helped that I ran pretty tasty yesterday over my 96 played. Figuring out hourly rates each day is quite silly I discovered. I was $132.80/hour! Woo! My pre vacation crap day I was -$145.03/hour. That's a sad number. Hopefully the weekly will end up a bit more normal, and especially next week when I'm going to make a real solid attempt at ~6 hours a day.

I'm not sure where the time all goes, I don't do a damn thing besides work out in the morning so I don't really start my day until 10-10:30, but really that leaves me the entire rest of the day to play. Maybe the breaks are too long, I dunno. I'll tinker, see where I can squeeze some more in. I also didn't play last night after dinner, so I'm sure there's another easy hour and change there. Decided to putz on Pokerstars instead with their silly double or nothing turbos, played like a maniac and managed to cash in 2 out of 4, for a modest profit. Those things are pretty damn easy I think. Decent way to build a roll consistently, albeit quite slowly unless you crank out a shitload per day. Rather boring and crazy tight too. Once I got a chiplead down to 8 players, I pushed nearly every hand and picked up tons of blinds because nobody wanted to bust, even with 8 left. Silly tighties. 2 more days until weekly stats. Get excited. Going to the Hockey East Tournament tomorrow night, so that'll kill some action, but hopefully I can average close to 100 over the next few days and see where I stand after a solid two weeks doing roughly 1000 in that timeframe. Then I can get numbers, and extrapolate out over the course of the year to figure out when I'll be making the jump to the 45s, then the 75s, then I'll have 10k and be a poker professional. First I need to delete my Pokertracker database again though, and start fresh. Not sure where that came from, I guess I just miss Starlight's shenanigans.

I've got deez nuts
