Weekly rundown

A very solid week, I'm happy to report. No major blowups, steady grinding, clear head. And I won. Sweet. Winning stuff is nice. Way better than losing.

Took Saturday off of "work" as it were to play some golf and have a few beers and watch the Red Sox game, so I didn't reach 10k hands. 9369 is the final tally, with 26.73 total hours at the tables. Good hour-age. Graph time, since I'm a visual learner.

Spiking up, while nice to start, sort of left something to be desired by week's end since I never actually got back above where I was after day 2. However, that's completely unrealistic as I was like 20+ptbb/100, heh. I still likes it. It's above that line at the bottom, and in the end that's what's important. Time to repeat for week 2.

Nothing really jumping out at me yet as far as leaks. I know I played like a dick a few days ago and tried to do waaaaaaaaaaay too much, and I suspect I'm still too tight post flop, in spite of my loose preflop standards. Makes for a weird combination. One pair hands are a massive loser, but that's to be expected. Just dunno if it's supposed to be THAT large of a number. Between one pair and high card hands, I'm down $1004. Yikes. High card is a bit trickier, especially with all the shortstackers and sticking them in with AK/AQ maybe AJ and losing flips and whatnot, but the one pair losses are $600 alone. Anybody compare this with their own stats? Too spewy?

I still need to work on having some kind of a plan for the hand as well, which is something I've not done too much in the past. I tend to be too focused on the first decision I have to make, but that's slowly been improving. However, it was quite funny how often, especially with sets, I'd tell myself call the flop, then donk a safe turn...and the turn would never be safe. Pretty much the worst card rolling off, I'd donk it anyway and get raised and cry, then peel for a boat and call the river anyway. Good more often than not since sets are awesome, but losing a ton of value by crappy boards. Setplay in general is weird. Hey there's a leak! Biggest money winner obviously, but I play them funny sometimes. Probably missing out on some good mobnies there. Time to change it up

I've got deez nuts
