Work sucks

And it hasn't officially started yet, but being assistant director means I now get to do all those things that just seemed "taken care of" when I was a counselor, so I've gone in a bunch to set things up/make manuals/call people/go through health forms. Lots of excellent things. Orientation is this week as well, and it's wicked cutting into my poker grumble grumble. Started mixing in a few $30s with the $20s, turned out being even tighter than the $20s which I guess is normal enough. The only other real frame of reference I have is PartyPoker, and there were a crapload of idiots at every level there I found, even up to $50s which I had dabbled in for about a hundred sngs or so. There are still nutters on UB to be sure, but quite a few less. This is nothing new, but the ratio from idiot to decent player is rising proportionally with stakes at such a precise level which strikes me as a bit odd.

Still doing well, the new Gary Spivey avatar rungood mojo left me for a while and I had a bunch of lousy beats, but one of the biggest improvements I've had in this new bout with sngs is the endgame, so I'm getting a lot more firsts than I have in the past, which can fix up a crappy session like that. This is good. This week I'll probably not play very much at all, leaving the weekend for super grindage. Gradually I'm getting more and more in per day which is nice, since I feel like volume is the only thing holding me back right now. On Party I could generally do 30-40 a day. At present I'm probably averaging about 20. As previously stated, however, the UB turbos do tend to be quite long, which may also explain the higher ROI since obviously slower blind levels=more play, and I've always done well against stupid players. In the end it's about the hourly rate though, which I haven't even looked at yet since I've been lazy and not even recorded my results. Oops. Sharkscope has ruined me. I just don't want to get too anal and get all jacked about the numbers, since then I start sweating losing days and losing sessions too much. Just have fun kids!

I've got deez nuts
