First week summaryWell it has been an interesting first week back playing in the land of online poker. I’ve had some extreme highs and some extreme lows. I’ve had an 84 second SnG. During one streak I lost 6 out of 7. I’ve won 5 out of seven on another run. I’ve been sick the last couple of days and on Thursday my internet connection went completely out. Hence the lack of updates.
No matter how skilled you are (or think you are) your fate is ultimately decided by powers out of your control. One can only hope that the situation you put yourself in will be favorable towards your bottom line. Even though something might have a 1% chance to happen… guess what… someone has to eventually be that 1%. I could insert some philosophical bullshit and self introspection but quite frankly I’m not in the mood. Secondly it would only be some self ego masturbatory thing as if anyone in the free world gives a crap as to what I write here. So with that, I’ll unleash the raw data on you: Bankroll: $521.84 Net: $471.84 Tracked Games Net: $393.20 Tracked Games Stats: Seven days played: 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, 6-5, 6-6, 6-9 28 total SnGs played 14 hours, 00 minutes played 30 minutes for the average game 39 minutes for the average winning game $28.09 an hour net rate 13 SnGs finished in the money 46% in the money 5-1st place finishes 5-2nd place finishes 3-3rd place finishes 6-4th place finishes "You call...gonna be all over, baby." -- Scotty Nguyen

RE:First week summarywhat lvl SNGs are you playing...
also your BR is 498 and your NET is 450? i don't get it... you started with 50$?
RE:First week summaryMostly $33+3 turbo 9 person SnGs. With the occassional $55+5 or $22+2 thrown in. I played one $10+1 when I was too tired but still bored enough to want to play one night.
Yes I started with a $50 deposit. "You call...gonna be all over, baby." -- Scotty Nguyen

RE:First week summaryI do have to amend one thing. Before I turned on hand history and started tracking my stats I had a $128.64 bankroll. Minus my original deposit of $50 means I had $78.54 net prior to these tracked stats. As I stated before I would provide only information on tracked hands. I did not factor this money out originally. My mistake.
I have adjusted the money accordingly. The rest of the stats were not affected and had already been adjusted. Also after posting the original blog entry I just had to play one more SnG and finished third :) , so I added that game in too. All in all I’m quite happy. I don’t play poker to earn a living. 14 hours over seven days equates to only playing 2 hours a day. Of course I play lighter throughout the week and heavier on the weekends. But still it is not a huge time sink. "You call...gonna be all over, baby." -- Scotty Nguyen
