Played well today, got a lot of cards, really only one bad beat where I had AA in the BB and re-raised a button raise, flop was Q59 with two spades, I 3/4 potted, he raised, i pushed and he call with 78s and hit his flush. Not too bad, I got the money in as a 60% fav or so, oh well.

I had a few sexy hands though ...

I have KK in the SB, MP limps and I raise to 4xBB, he calls. From a previous hand I had a good read on this guy, I knew he wouldn't let go of top pair easily.

Flop comes 5 Q 8 rainbow, I bet 3/4 pot, he calls.
Turn 7 putting two spades on, I check, he bets meakly($5 into $10), I raise to $25 he calls
River 3h I push the rest in and he calls with QJ

That's one the first times I've tried to slowplay an overpair postflop, and with the right read it worked well. Obviously he could've had a set, but I was probably going broke to a set anyway.

I flopped another King high straight with KT vs. KQ who hit trips on the turn. Got his stack.

Lot of low sets today, but none of them paid off. I think I played one or two of them a bit too slow, but for the most part I wasn't hitting at the right times, oh well.

Got the Stars bonus today, padding the roll nicely.
