Back in the Game

Got my deposit from ePassporte and paid back Ensano, many thanks bud =). My bank statement is currently showing a pending deposit for $650 (from NetTeller) which is another good sign because I now have a bigger "bankroll." I'm still going to take the time to earn my bankroll grinding it out.

I've had a pretty good start, good upswing then a slight downswing where I hit maybe 2 or 3 sets but couldn't get anything out of people ... hands like AQ on AQ7 board where I 3bet preflop and there were 4 callers to flop but they folded to my flop bet.

Then I started off a session with this hand:

Table 'Fama II' 6-max Seat #1 is the button
Seat 3: gspeedy ($18 in chips)
Seat 5: Sonny617 ($24.95 in chips)
mrbumpkin: posts small blind $0.10
gspeedy: posts big blind $0.25
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Sonny617 [Kd Ks]
looking@you: raises $0.50 to $0.75
Sonny617: raises $1.50 to $2.25
PURIFIED27: folds
mrbumpkin: folds
gspeedy: raises $1.50 to $3.75
looking@you: calls $3
Sonny617: raises $21.20 to $24.95 and is all-in
gspeedy: calls $14.25 and is all-in
looking@you: folds
*** FLOP *** [Jh 4s Ts]
*** TURN *** [Jh 4s Ts] [Ac]
*** RIVER *** [Jh 4s Ts Ac] [5s]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
gspeedy: shows [Ad Js] (two pair, Aces and Jacks)
Sonny617: shows [Kd Ks] (a pair of Kings)
Sonny617 said, "lol"
Sonny617 said, "figures"
gspeedy collected $37.90 from pot

I usually never see this level of donkitude, so I was surprised. After that I made a questionable preflop call to result in this:

Seat 1: PURIFIED27 ($30.45 in chips)
Seat 2: mrbumpkin ($27.10 in chips)
Seat 3: gspeedy ($60.30 in chips)
Seat 4: hdgouldie ($10.85 in chips)
Seat 5: Sonny617 ($29.95 in chips)
Seat 6: Mr.Ball21 ($9.20 in chips)
Mr.Ball21: posts small blind $0.10
PURIFIED27: posts big blind $0.25
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Sonny617 [4d 3d]
mrbumpkin: raises $0.75 to $1
gspeedy: calls $1
hdgouldie: raises $1 to $2
Sonny617: calls $2
Mr.Ball21: folds
PURIFIED27: folds
mrbumpkin: calls $1
gspeedy: calls $1
*** FLOP *** [6c 4c 3c]
mrbumpkin: checks
gspeedy: checks
hdgouldie: bets $2
Sonny617: raises $8 to $10
mrbumpkin: folds
gspeedy: folds
hdgouldie: calls $6.85 and is all-in
*** TURN *** [6c 4c 3c] [Kc]
*** RIVER *** [6c 4c 3c Kc] [2s]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
hdgouldie: shows [Ad Ac] (a flush, Ace high)
Sonny617: shows [4d 3d] (two pair, Fours and Threes)
hdgouldie collected $24.80 from pot

Unfortunate, put me down about $40 for the session now ... but I made it all back.

Seat 1: PURIFIED27 ($28.50 in chips)
Seat 2: mrbumpkin ($23.45 in chips)
Seat 3: gspeedy ($57.90 in chips)

Sonny617: calls $1.55 and is all-in
*** RIVER *** [Jh 2c 7h 3h] [3c]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
hdgouldie: shows [Qh Qd] (two pair, Queens and Threes)
Sonny617: shows [Jc Js] (a full house, Jacks full of Threes)

Other guy had a set of 7s, so that put me up for the session. That puts me up $81 in 25NL over 1500 hands.

In other news, I played in an $11 stud tournament and busted after the first break, watching fools get sick cards, etc. Couldn't make a flush to save my life. I also wasted $44 or $55 on an $11 sunday million satellite. I managed to build up a big stack and then blew it by staying too loose after the rebuy period. My head wasn't in those tournaments enough, something I'll have to change.

I'm thinking about heading to a real casino sometime this month, I've heard of a $1/$2 100 max buyin game at a casino about 45 minutes away, steep rake though ($6 half/hour to sit!).

Just kidding, the $650 was from my college ... dunno why that happened though?
