Grinding ...

So I ended up playing live on Thursday night, and lost $95 which sucked. I had a lot tougher of a table than I did last time I went, and I probably should have left earlier or tried to switch tables before my disastrous last hand. I think my losses at the RCG for the summer total up to something like $180. I'm gonna take a break from live poker for a while and focus on building up my online roll and "paying" myself back. That means my goal is $600 + $180 or $780. As of this writing, my FT account has $382.15, and my Pstars account has $44.26. That leaves roughly $350 more to go ...

I've only had one losing session so far on FTP, 10NL has been going really well, except that I lost a ton of key all-ins this weekend. Had a set of jacks on a KJT6 board, and got it all-in against two guys, one with a queen and the other with K6, so they had 10 outs and of course an ace comes on the river, shipping a $26 pot to the total donkey. Lost another with A9 on a 8d9x3dTx board where I got it in on the turn against 9d6d and he gets the six on the river. Also lost one with AA against a short-stack fool who got it in on a 48J board with JQ and spiked his queen on the river. Later I lost with AT against him on a 753A board, where he had A5. I should've looked at his low aggression factor before I made that decision to call, but oh well.

Somehow though, I'm still crushing 10NL at 17PT/100 ... totally unsustainable. The sad thing is that my total rake is about 85% of my winnings. Good thing I'm getting that rakeback =)
