I lied ... I played 100NL on Friday, but guess what, I won my losses back over a few huge hands.

First I finally hit a low set, but definitely didn't win as much as I had hoped. Turn check looks weird here, but I felt it setup the river nicely. Obviously I could've raised the flop but I think that would've gotten a fold there or on the turn.

Then I had a series of hands with one player who turned out to be quite the aggressor.

The first preflop call was pretty loose, but I didn't see any reason for a player to do that with aces or kings, I figured it was a coinflip way too often to fold it. Maybe I was wrong? Second one played itself ... except I left $15 behind for some reason, drrr oh well. And the flop call on the third hand was really easy to make after the first two hands.

Then I played some 50NL today, stacked a guy with AA vs. KK. Had a hand with 85T flop where I raised pre with T8s, bet pot, got called, then 3-bet all-in on the turn 9, rivered an 8. My opponent had JQ for a turned gutshot and of course I managed to get the old "wow" from him.

40 more FPPs to get the 30gb iPod, I'll probably keep going for the 80 to get more "value" out of the stars "rakeback."

I dunno about the AK hand, I have made that call before, I honestly don't know if it's +ev... meh.

I went with the 30 gig iPod myself... sure the 80 gig is only a few grand points more, but no way I'd ever fill that up. Diminishing marginal utility...
