Sick Human Being

Permanent Linkby TheSalche on Thu Jul 26, 2007 12:44 am GMT

I am a sick human being ... just like every other poker player. Somehow I keep coming back to it. Here's some turbo SnG results from the last few days:

QQ loses to TJ preflop all-in
QQ loses to AK preflop all-in
AK loses to TT preflop all-in
AQ loses to AJ preflop all-in
AQ loses to AK all-in after AK guy limps, I make a big raise, flop comes KQJ and I don't even improve to a chop.
QJ loses to Q8 all-in on flop of QT3, guy rivers his 8.

Pushed with J9 with 1400 chips at 100/200 level, BB calls with A5 and wins. Lost another few by pushing in poor spots with SCs and low PPs, running into high PPs each time. Tilt pushed J4 UTG with really low blind levels, get two callers, AT and K7, flopped a 4 but the turn was a king, so I couldn't luckbox my way into a win.

My hold'em has been going poorly. Managed to lose with two flopped sets, one against an OESD, got it all in on the flop and the guy turned his straight. No river boat. Another time I attempted to slowplay a set of 7s on a K78 board with two diamonds, checked around on the flop, turn was Ace of spades, putting two spades on there, MP bets, I raise 2/3 pot or so, BB cold calls, MP calls. River is the 4 of spades, BB shoves for $7 (about 2/3 pot), MP calls, I re-shove for $13 more, MP calls with a flush and BB had A4.

After that I tilted off another buy-in at another table and currently I am playing my 6th SnG of the night, after three of those bustouts I put the money in on a coinflip or when I was way ahead.

My bankroll is dropping rapidly, around $160 right now. I really need this win. I'm dropping down to 10NL and maybe play some of these turbos if I can get off tilt.
