Right ok, where to start.

I have been playing a lot more tournaments recently. I dunno why. I think it's to do with seeking out the big win that I crave. I have had a few cashes but I am throwing a bit of money away when I am not really bankrolled for these tournaments.

For example, tonight with basic knowledge of Stud I just played a $22 mtt. $22 isn't too much, that's not the problem, but the fact I would quite happily play 5 or 6 of these in a day making up a decent amount. I will just enter a $50 or a $100 if they are starting and I am in the mood.

I am not really bankrolled for the long term tourney thing, and I usually played them once very so often. My problem also with this is it is eating up my time on the cash game tables where I make my money. I am going to try and cut down on these small tournies for now.

I played in the WSOP Sat on stars for $350 which had 7300 regietered. 250 paid and I ended up getting down to 468th before I was busted with KJs v T6s.

It was a typical SB steal. It had folded round, he had monster chips, I had 10 bb and I couldn't lay that down. He flopped a T and I was out, c'est la vie.

Good news is I now have financial backing into the bigger tournaments from a friend of mine. I will now be able to play the $100 and $200 MTT's with more confidence now and now worry about qualifying for them. This is the break I have been looking for really, as long as I don't screw up and play bad.

I should start with those sometime this week or next week.

Today was perhaps the best day I have had in months. I sorta went off the rails from September till May so it was a bit of a crappy period in my life but I have put that to rest now.

Today I had a lovely meal with friends outside with lovely weather. It just seemed overall such a lovely time, which put me in a lovely mood.

I finished ITM again in our little degenerate THP tournies we have on stars. That's 3 times in a row with one win so that was an added bonus to my stars account.

What else has happened? Ermmm, very little cash game play as I mentioned. I have been really busy with my website shenanigans which I will talk about in a minute.

I have been playing some more Omaha lately which hasn't been too bad. I suck at Fixed Limit Omaha shorthanded I found, so will leave that well alone.

I also rediscovered my love for No Limit Hold'em Full handed. It's fine me learning how to play new games and I am really enjoying Stud and Omaha. I make decent money at Omaha but the variance is huge. I have decided what I need to do for a few weeks is get a load of hands under my belt at Hold'em and start generating some cash again. The bankroll has sort of been stagnant these last few weeks, although that is due to me withdrawing here and there for my online empire, mwahaha.

PokerBlue is steadily growing, which is great and I have been playing a little on there, mainly the tournaments because the players are not all that great.

rake4poker - Finally the sie is starting to pick up some players after the addition of pokerblue. It's come at a good time as well. I thought there was a chance it wasn't going to hit off at all and I had wasted my money, it's a lovely site too. I am going for a bit of a market push with this site as well so hopefully we can grab a few more players in the coming months.

ACIGaming - It has taken a few weeks, but I have now rolled out the start of my latest business venture, www.acigaming.com . This site is basically a gambling review site. Currently we only have poker reviews in place, but we should be adding Casino, Sportsbook and even bingo to our reviews!

I typed up some strategy guides so check them out and let me know what you think. All the work is original and created by me and my business partner. We have added some news feeds, a forum and a good tournament list as well.

In addition, we also purchased poker77.co.uk which is a baby site for ACIgaming. I liked it so snapped it up.

So, lets make a list of goals for the rest of the month.

1) Push r4p and aci heavily and get their profile up a bit
2) Get back to the daily "grind" of playing around 500-1000 hands a day
3) Enter some of the bigger tournaments
4) Continue with my learning of Omaha and Stud.

I think that's about all I have to say at the moment. Oh by the way, If you want to do some reading on Omaha, I full recommend Bob Caiffone's book, Omaha Poker, it is great.

Oh yeah, I also have borrowed a few backgammon books so I will do some reading up on that. I have always wanted to know how to play the game.

Right, Ta Ta for now.
