What's new Mr Magoo?Well I didnt really want to post again till I knew this thing was for public use.
So what's new? Well I have stagnated a bit when it comes to playing poker. I am not really playing bad, although at least 2 moves that were bad would have turned break even days into winning days. It's good that I can actually identify mistakes. I usually identify them just milli seconds after doing them, then they call or reraise me and it is 100% confirmed my Ace High is not that good. Anyway, made some good progress the other day. SB v BB blind war I have 66 folded round, i raise, he reraises I call. Flop 6** Rainbow. ZING I lead with a pot sized bet. He Calls. I make a 3/4 pot bet on the turn, he calls. River is a King, I make about another 3/4 pot size bet, he raises me all in. No surely not a two outer on the river? I Call, Oh yeah you better believe it. It's not a bad beat, I'd probably put me on an overpair to the 6 high and call down (Well probably have him all in on the turn) This is the only hand that really stands out, that and my Quads being owned by quads in a PLO8 game, but meh. Had a great calling station earlier when I had KK. I ended up betting the pot on each street and he called every one then mucked. Board had an AQ on it. Arrrrgh, I hear you cry, there is an overcard surely he has it? Well no, I was about 90% sure he didn't, good old READS. I think that will be my next topic in my blog, seeing as supafrey likes them so much. So on to other news. I now have a role in an online poker site which is launching next week. That's going to be fun. I have always wanted to do other stuff involved with poker, and this is my big chance. I am handling a certain area in the company, but playing it safe and not saying a thing till everything is finalised and we go live. Horse Racing stuff........Ermmm, very dull at the moment, ups and downs, ups and downs. www.rake4poker.com - Steadily growing at the moment. Lots of new deals added with a few bigger sites. Check it out. Don't think I have missed anything, so catch you later. 0 Comments Viewed 2 times |
