I found time to play poker tonight. I am pretty busy so sitting down and playing for even just an hour is pretty nice, which I did tonight. I think I only logged about 300 hands, but whatever, I am not hardcore right now - when I come home from work, I'm pretty tired, but 10pm is ideal pokerstars fish-hour so I play until I can't think anymore - which usually lasts only about 30-60 minutes. This means no MTTs or even 180s or SNGs. But that is good because it encourages me to play really good poker @ 25NL six-max. I have also changed my 10-tabling ways, I'm just chillin at 4 tables right now, it makes it easier to think and at this point in my life I really just want to make myself a good poker-thinker and then in September I can afford to be an unemployed student - and I will have hours every day to put in massive multi-tabling sessions.

Tonight I made a handful of donkey-bluffs, although it really helped my table image, I got paid off on a couple sick hands... here are some interesting hands from the session tonight. I was playing pretty aggressive, running at 32.5/25.2/3.15 (vp$ip/PRF/AF)

** This is a pretty interesting hand. I hadn't been sitting at the table for very long, but I did have a note on XMC202 saying "3-bets light PF" - I took this info and decided to 4-bet, and I kinda just expected him to fold. But luckily I flopped a flush draw and he probably had a mid-pair or Ax. I dunno what you-all think about going all-in right there, the pot was big enough and I was happy to scoop it up

**Ooooops I donkeyed away an extra $18 after I should have been absolutely certain my opponent has a big hand - yeah I played the river pretty badly, and I should have made it $1.75 preflop, I could have gotten away with a $4-5 bet on the flop, which was basically the only time when I should have been making big bets/calls. After the turn I just closed my eyes and kept pushing. Meh

**yes, I went for the check-raise bluff on the turn (although technically I was ahead), I just didn't think my opponent had much. I don't know how you might perceive the line I took in this hand, I felt bad after the hand, but right now it doesn't look that terrible - I hit the only possible card that I would pay him off with on the river, it was $4 to win a $21 pot, I just didn't want to fold, even though I knew I was probably behind.

**Wow, I won a 63BB pot with AA, I usually lose the big pots with overpairs

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, so in the week of having my laptop, I am up about $45 from NL25 - I can't wait until I have time to sit down and have a long session, I wanna play a handful of the 45 person $10 SNGs sometime soon. They are easy to win and have smaller fields than those 180 person MTTs.

Shame on you, start a poker blog. Dooo it.

Now THAT'S funny.
Gaming corrupts our disposition and teaches us a habit of hostility against all mankind.
