So far today: 763 hands of 6-max NL, 5 tables of .05/.10 and 1 table of .10/.25, 2 hours, +$43.45.


So i've collected my shame and dropped down in limits while adding a couple of tables. The .05/.10 tables are $20 max buy-ins but most people were sitting around $6 with the occasional full stacked player. I can safely say that I am through with buying in short; despite the advantages, the style is incredibly high variance, and when you are short-rolled, that's not cool. These micro-micro limits seem to be low variance, even when I got coolered today it's only for 25% of my stack as opposed to my full stack. Only once in 2 hours did I bust my stack and it happened with AA, I couldn't really fold at any point. The min-raise preflop looks retarded, but I was set up perfectly in a way that a min-raise would totally conceal my hand b/c the previous hand I shit talked someone for min-raising and I guessed nobody would put me on Aces, which they didn't. Playing the hand properly wouldn't have helped me anyhow.

KJ of hearts couldn't fold at any point there, unknowingly I was the underdog on the flop. That was the only time I got stacked today so far.

I hit quads THREE times! I only got paid off once though, but still. I hit probably 4 or 5 sets as well, so that's where most of the profit came from.

Gotta love it.

Today I ran hot and cold in streaks, I would get dealt premium pairs at 2 tables at once, the same time I flop top 2 pair at another table. My AA or KK would get cracked at the same time, it was freaky. I would hit sets at the same time with my pocket pairs too.

I'm back over $200 on absolute and I resolve to stick it out with these limits until my bankroll swells to over $500, I probably wont start playing .25/.50 until I'm over 1K.

I found 6 tabling pretty easy, despite the fact that I'm playing on a 15" laptop screen. I'll take a screenshot at some point, every screen overlaps every other screen, it's pretty lame :/ I have plans in the next year to buy a desktop computer and I'll get a pimped out monitor so I can 6-8 table with not so much overlap. Absolute poker has really terrible software, I kinda wish I would have gone to Ultimate Bet to collect my 30% rakeback, but I'll get over it. The player trafic at Absolute is much better than I thought it would be.

Later on today I'm going to have another session of 6 tabling. You can play about 1000 hands in 2.5 hours, so I resolve to attempt 1500-2000 hands per day, if possible.

I seriously can't wait to move up in stakes, but it's time for me to suffer at micro-micro stakes until I learn my lesson in bankroll management. Absolute poker has 20xBB buy-ins at all the tables, so .25/.50 is actually 100NL. This means I'll be stuck at 20NL and 50NL for quite some time, but I'm okay with that.
