So yeah I'm down about $180 in the past 2 days. Looks like NL25 is harder than my donkey brain can handle. Same with any SNG and basically all poker in general. Sucks to be me.

Hand 1: How can you possibly fold for $3 more???? Sorry, but range is far bigger than just a set. He could be pushing A6 or 77-KK for all you know.



Hand 2: MUCH more likely he has a set in this situation than in hand #1, but top two on this board is pretty hard to get away from, as some opponents will go crazy with the A-high flush draw (esp. AJs or ATs), AK, or JT. I don't get why you would play this out here, but fold the AA the previous hand for a minimal sum? When I get 4-bet with top two, I'm usually about 95% sure I'm beat.



Hand 3: Yeah, pretty likely he has Aces, but it's generally pretty tough to fold KK preflop, especially at $25 NL. I wouldn't fold unless I was pretty sure (ie player history indicates) that his range is exactly AA (or rarely, the other KK).



Hand 4: Yeah, I'm going broke there, too. You don't suck.



Hand 5: Don't like the reraise, because it's pretty likely he has a flush. I probably call here and hope the board pairs on the river. If not, maybe fold, but probably still pretty hard to fold.







Overall, don't beat yourself too much over these hands, but that fold on the first hand, though "technically" correct (in the "Perfect Play" sense of the word), is pretty atrocious in my mind, as you're going to be ahead against many hands. I've made far worse donkey plays in the past, so shake it off and reboot.
