This is my second update for today so if you care and didn't check earlier, there is a blog from mid afternoon.

So part 2 of my session was similar to the first.

785 hands of 6-max NL, 5 tables of .05/.10 and a .10/.25 table to spice things up, +$20.10 for 2 hours.

Absolute poker disapoints me again because it doesn't let you sit at more than 6 tables, and there was a point when I easily could have opened a 7th or 8th table, which would have added another 150 hands to the mix, but alas those hands didn't get to happen.

This session was perhaps even less swingy than earlier, again I only got outdrawn for a big pot once - and again I had AA. I think I played the hand quite well, other than perhaps not re-raising enough preflop.

Yup, both flush draws sucked out on me.

I probably hit fewer big hands in the 2nd session and people really weren't paying me off as much, perhaps I was playing too tight, my VP$IP for most of the tables was around 25. I just didn't run into many big 2nd best hands this time.

I've found that suited connectors aren't winning as much as I expected them to, I am going to limit myself to playing them only in late position, and I'll fold 7-8s and lower to pretty much any raise, I haven't won a big pot with a suited connector in the past 3K hands, which makes me feel it isn't really worth standing a 5xBB raise, even with J10s.

The cure for running badly is to play a lot of hands. I'm happy b/c I've played about 1.6K hands today, I might cruise pokerstars later and check out some tournaments. Or I might hit up some bars, we will see.

Afterwords he was like "I folded KK, was it a good laydown?" - and I'm not sure if I believe him or not. I checked the flop because I was pretty worried about AA, QQ or JJ and I wanted to take one off and use position to my advantage. I after he checked the turn I put him on AK or TT so I just put in a value bet in case he felt like paying.
