Weird. Yesterday I made a speculatory blog about how I was actually gonna run goot today, and it came true. I only played in 10 different tournaments and <100 hands of cash game. But today for the first time ever after like 2 months and many attempts I won a $5.50 45 person SNG. Most of the 45 person tournaments I played were the $6.50 turbos, and if I know what's good for me I'll stop playing them b/c it's infinitely easier to cash/final table/win the 10 minute blind tournaments rather than the 5 min structure.

Played 2 $11 SNGs, made 2nd and 8th. Played 3 $6.50 turbo SNGs, made 2nd 4th and 9th (busted 3rd hand, AA to 7-2, who re-raised PF and flopped 2 pair on Q-7-2 flop... oops so much for not 4-betting).

I played the $5 rebuy 25K GTD, I idiotically busted in about 550th (450 get teh monies), I literally won a single hand in the rebuy period, so I basically had my $15 worth of chips, like 7,5K. I was pretty short stacked for most of the tournament. I had about 18K chips when I busted, blinds were 1K/2K, Button (60K stack) raised to 5,5K, I pushed with 22 because I'm a donkey, he obviously called and hit an ace on the flop to knock me out on the bubble. I definitely should NOT have pushed with 22 against a chip leader, I am still working on strategy for deep in those rebuy tournaments. Doing anything with 22 when you are short is probably a mistake unless you are in LP and it's folded around to you. MEH.

I played 4 of the $5.50 45 person MTTSNGs, I won one of them and came in 2nd for another one. See I told you I run goot. I'm not surprised I had a 1+2, but it's weird, the tournament I won I came onto the final table in 7th and the tournament I won I was literally chip leader for the whole FT until it got down to heads up, I lost a flip with AQ vs J10, pushed him in with a flush draw and got called by A high. This put us dead-even in chips, two hands later I flopped a 17 outter flush draw + straight draw, I re-raised all-in when he bet the flop, he called me with an underpair so I was about 65% or something sick but I turbo-wiffed for the 2nd place.

First pays $70 while 2nd pays only $48.

The tournament I won I was down to about 800 chips after not winning a hand for the first hour and a bit. I doubled up with AA with about 27 people left.

PS Roll is back over $300 which is a step in the right direction. I just need a couple more days like today.
