Nothing spectacular to report really. I played in another of the rebuy tourneys the other day, a $10k gtd one. I finished 35th out of about 2000 people, again a pretty good result for me, it's a shame that the payout was only $67. It was a $50 profit though. I'm not doing so well in cash games, I'm still losing money in them and I don't really know why. I think for the time being I'll concentrate on tourneys and SnG's as I seem to do better with that type of format.

Maybe they're just suited more to my style of play. I've been playing mainly $5 and $10 SnG's, I think I'm going to carry on with the $10 ones, and maybe play the odd $20 and $30 one as well to see how I go. Hopefully I'll be able to start increasing my br a bit!!

Br currently standing at $2783.19

Down then a big up!!

Hi,

My cash game really hadn't ben going well at all, in total I was down about $150 dollars, some at NL25 and some at NL50. Mainly down to playing tired and not paying attention to how the flop looks.

Today I played a $3 rebuy tourney on Stars with $30k guaranteed prize pool. I got some really incredible luck in this, at one point I was shortstacked near the bubble, and then after the bubble doubled up several times, including once where I was all in and hit a 2 outer. I got far more luck than I deserved. I ended up finishing 3rd out of about 2700 for around $2100, which was absolutely fantastic.

BR now at $2941.20. I'm not sure if I'm going to withdraw any yet, I'll leave it where it is for now

Good day

I had a really sick session playing 2 tables at NL25, I got some monstors and got paid off big for them. In the space of an hour and a half I was up 5 buy ins, it was one of those times where I just hit everything.

I entered a $13 double shootout satellite to the Sunday Millions, I was doing really well until this hand.

I guess it wasn't meant to be. I don't seem to do very well in these shootouts. I played in a $3 rebuy satellite to the same tournament. Again I was doing well, it was also a turbo, so in the rebuy period lots of people were pushing every hand. I get AK and call the all in, and get beaten by 8 3 off suit. The very next hand I got AK again and it lost to 5 5. This was just before the end of the rebuy period was over, so there was no chance to build my stack back up again, and basically had no hope of even making the money. Oh well , never mind.

BR is now $1019.90 which is up $61.72 on the starting balance. This was also...

Reasonable day

Well, I played quite a bit yesterday, several sit and go's and lots of 9 handed ring games.

The sit and go's were a bit of a disaster, I played 3 $10+1 and 3$5+.5 and only got 1 3rd place. Normally I'm better than this and sit and go's, so I'm not sure what was wrong.

My total net loss was $31.50

The cash games were a lot better, my total profit for the session was $43.25, putting my bankroll at $954.93

I thought I'd post a few hands from my sessions.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?574225 this one, the guy had been raising quite a lot of hands, otherwise I wouldn't have called with the Q 8 suited. I was also reasonably sure he had nothing, which is why I was happy to call his all in. Of course he could have had an overpair, but I figured there was a good chance that he didn't. He gave me quite a bit of shit for calling his raise with that hand.

This was a crazy hand, not even really sure what to say about this. http://www.pokerhand.org/?574360

I was playing a couple...

Busted out of the rebuy

Permanent Linkby misterjokerboy on Tue Oct 24, 2006 3:34 am GMT

As you can probably tell by the title, I busted out of the rebuy finishing 61st out of 221. I actually played pretty well, then one hand pretty much blew it for me which I've posted below. Comments would be appreciated.

I didn't actually need to rebuy once, so I only spent $15 on the tourney, BR now $943.18
